🦃💖 This Thanksgiving, we are filled with gratitude as we announce the launch of the Culinary Arts and Resource Education (C.A.R.E.) program, made possible by the generous support of United Way of Greater Los Angeles! Together WFD with Kitchen To Go, Inc., we are committed to strengthening the homeless services workforce by equipping First Day residents with the skills and certifications needed to thrive in the hospitality industry.

Through this innovative program, participants not only gain independence and secure meaningful employment, but they also give back to the community that supported them, becoming skilled employees within the very system that uplifted them.

As we gather to give thanks, let’s celebrate the power of community, collaboration, and the promise of brighter futures, one meal at a time.
